Our Location

The First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio is located in the Northwest section of San Antonio, at the intersection of IH-10 West and IH-410 West. We are on the Southeast corner of the intersection, across IH-10 from Wonderland of the Americas Mall (formerly Crossroads) where the VIA bus system has a Park & Ride facility.

Using Mapping Software (GPS, MapQuest, Google Maps, etc): Our official address of 7150 IH-10 West often does not accurately map. It is best to use the following which will get you to the back side of the church:

Arriving by Via Bus: From the mall take Crossroads Boulevard under IH-10 and turn left on the access road. The church is at the top of the hill, approximately a 10-15 minute walk.

From downtown,: Take IH-10 West towards 410 on the northwest side of town. Exit at Crossroads Blvd. Stay on the access road through Crossroads. Pass the gas station and the motel and head up the hill. The church is at the top of the hill on the right.
From the northwest part of the city (1604 & I-10),: Take IH-10 East towards downtown. Exit at Crossroads Blvd. Use the turnaround to start heading back west on the access road. Pass the gas station and the motel and head up the hill. The church is at the top of the hill on the right.
From Loop 410 East,: Approaching from the east on 410, take IH-10 East towards downtown. As you enter I-10 stay in the right hand lane to exit at Vance Jackson. Use the turnaround to get on the (westbound) access road. Take the access road back up along the highway, passing through the Crossroads Blvd intersection past the gas station and the motel and head up the hill. The church is at the top of the hill on the right.
From Loop 410 West,: Approaching from the west on 410, take the Fredericksburg Road exit. Stay on the access road, cross Fredericksburg Road, and follow the access road which curves to the right around the side of Wonderland of the Americas Mall (formerly Crossroads). Do not take the ramp to the left which will put you back on 410. As you approach Crossroads Blvd take the turnaround to the left under the highway. Pass the gas station and the motel and head up the hill. The church is at the top of the hill on the right.

The Fellowship Hall as seen from the I-10 access road. Turn into the parking lot when you see this building! If you miss it, the process to get back to this point is not easy. If you do miss the turn into our parking lot, it is simplest (though not shortest) to stay on the access road to Cherry Ridge, take the turnaround to the left, stay on the 410 access road to Fredericksburg, take the turn around to the left, then follow the directions above for From Loop 410 West.
